Rheinmetall und Boeing Australia haben eine strategische Partnerschaft rund um das unbemannte Kampfflugzeug MQ-28 Ghost Bat vereinbart. Die Unternehmen wollen das System als Lösung für die geplante Beschaffung eines Collaborative Combat Aircrafts (CCA) durch die Bundeswehr anbieten. Bei CCAs handelt es sich um unbemannte Kampfflugzeuge, die bemannte Kampfflugzeuge in Kampfhandlungen nach dem Konzept des Loyal Wingman unterstützen sollen.
